Art Studio 1:12 Replica

$0.00

I made a miniature copy of my art studio from cardboard. I made most of the items in it. A dremel kit from a floss container. My cellphone. Bench, bench tools, colored pencils, traveling paint tray, dress form with a jacket made from a Jane Yoo leather purse I cut. The chair is made with one of my brother’s socks. Paint tubes, brushes, frames, paintings. Box of bandaids that closes and there are bandaids inside. Kleenex box. Desk lamp. (Some day I may light it.) I fell in love with a bullseye window from Spain, and made one. CD player with a CD on the open tray. There are wheels on the chair. Thumbing my nose at another miniaturist who sniffed at using recycled stuff, the trash can is the top of a Preparation H tube. I love insider miniature jokes! The roof is the grooved insert in a pizza box. I entered it in an art show, and the judge who gave it a ribbon didn’t come right out and say “this is nuts” but did kindly admire the nutsy attention to detail.
